Overview Location
This remote Himalayan trek called the Manaslu Circuit encircles Mount Manaslu (8,163m) which stands as the world’s eighth tallest peak. Visitors to this trek can experience authentic natural beauty alongside true cultural experiences in an adventure that avoids crowds. This 177-kilometer trail reaches the stunning Larkya La Pass (5,160 meters / 16,930 feet) after walking through Buddhist settlements and deep gorges as well as lush lowlands and high alpine landscapes. This trek begins at Soti Khola and concludes at Dharapani which connects to the Annapurna Circuit and typically lasts between 14 to 18 days. Visitors cannot access Manaslu without special permissions and a certified guide in contrast to the more frequented Annapurna and Everest regions. The trek offers spectacular sightlines of Manaslu, Himalchuli, Ngadi Chuli, Ganesh Himal and Annapurna II. Manaslu trekkers find spring from March to May and fall from September to November to be perfect seasons due to stable weather conditions and bright skies.
