Overview Location
Tamang Heritage Trail is a cultural trek in the Langtang valley, it is the best combination of ethnic diversity and nature. A community-based tour program, the trek travels through Tamang culturally vibrant villages with Tibetan ethnicity while enjoying magnificent views of terraced fields, forests, and the entire Himalayan range. At the same time, the trek is low altitude (3,165m is the highest point in the trek), which accommodates families and new trekkers alike. The trail also contains hot springs in Tatopani (hot water) and side excursions and viewpoints, temples, or Monasteries. This is unique for those that are looking for shorter treks or cultural treks with less people, instead of common treks in Nepal.
